Pattaya – Australian drugged and robbed at his hotel

Via: Pattaya One

An Austrailian man was druffed and robbed by a woman he had met on Walking Street and slept for 24 hours (possibly, a Guiness World Record?) before realizing he had been the victim of a robbery. Tourist Police were called to room number 338 at the Diamond Beach Hotel just off Walking Street, occupied by Mr. Yasin Sharif aged 63 of Iraqi origin but holder of an Australian passport.

He was in a semi-conscious state and was unable to explain what had happened. Hotel staff reported him taking a woman aged between 30 and 35 to his room at 2am on Friday but it was not until 1am on Saturday that he was discovered in the room by Hotel staff.

The room appeared to have been ransacked and it is believed that cash had been stolen although any amounts of stolen money could not be verified by the victim who was taken to Hospital where he is recovering from the effects of the drugs administered to him (photo – hour 29).
