  1. I’m fascinated comparing your old photo of Chiang Mai (main street?) with a current stroll around the city via the Google Earth Streetview feature – there’s been a little development up there…. We visited Chaing Mai in summer 1973. I see Le Coq D’or Restaurant is still in business. We had my wife’s birthday there – the French-trained chef made the most delicious roast chicken and a chocolate layer birthday cake!
