living in the ‘Land of Smiles’

Chiang Mai, Thailand

It’s fast approaching 8am, and I’m headed to ‘Bake & Bite’ …

115

and I’m going to have:

– two, count ’em, two pieces of thick-cut, cinnamon raisin french toast

– a side order of bacon

– a VERY LARGE glass of fresh squeezed orange juice

and a,

– hot mocha

ALL THAT, for 175 baht @ 35 =  $5.00USD, and I’ll be LOSING WEIGHT!

The bacon? yeah, yeah, I know it’s not good for ya; but my last LDL was 82, and my BP was 112/68; so what the hey, live a little, right?

After breakfast, I’ll stop off at a bookstore, maybe two; and then walk the 1.5 miles home.

———–
I’ve NEVER, (cough)(cough), felt so healthy; physically, mentally, and emotionally: as I feel living here, in the ‘Land of Smiles’.
